Song of Hellas was created in 2021 as a project of the non-profit society Ars Augusta eV and the opera singer Eleni Ioannidou. The aim is to build and curate a comprehensive archive of songs inspired by Greece. The project is aimed at performers, pupils and students, lovers of song singing and the Hellenic ideal. In this archive one can get to know the work of many composers and poets from all over the world. One can hear the songs, learn more about them, follow scores and poetry in several languages. "SongOfHellas.org" is an ever-expanding database and resource for researching the links between poetry and music, history and culture.

We are grateful for information about new contributions that point out material that is unknown to us or that draw our attention to the need for any correction.
We also invite artists (singers, pianists or composers and poets) to take part in our project while we provide the society's studio for this purpose. To make an appointment, please contact us at the e-mail address: arsaugusta@gmail.com .
