Jan Bukowski

Jan Bukowski was born in Warsaw (Poland) and was a soloist in the Olsztyn City Youth Choir at the age of eight. As part of his training as a singer, he studied at the Academy of Music in Kraków and at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media with Marek Rzepka. Scholarship from Germany, Cusanuswerk, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now and Richard Wagner Verband scholarships. He has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions, including 1st place in the international singing competition Iuventus Canti in Vrable, Slovakia (2017). He appeared as a baritone in Moniuszko's operetta "The Night Camp in the Apennines", in the Warsaw Chamber Opera (2014), in JS Bach's "O ewiges Feuer" as part of the festival La Folle Journee de Varsovie in the National Opera in Warsaw (2016), with J. Brahms "Neue Liebeslieder" Op. 65 in the context of the festival "Voice and Piano" in Cracow (2017), with GP Telemanns "The Shepherds at the Manger in Bethlehem" in Kloster Michaelstein (2018) and with the girls choir Hannover in of the State Opera Hanover (2019). In 2022 he will appear as William in "The fall of the house of Usher" by Philipp Glass in Kammerschauspiel Munich.

She took part in opera masterclasses given by Siegfried Jerusalem, Cheryl Studer, Christiane Iven, Aris Argiris, Dimitri Kavrakos, bel canto experts Peter Berne and Daphne Evangelatos, as well as numerous concerts as a soloist, with piano and orchestral accompaniment.

She is the winner of the 2020 International Singing Competition of the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera and has been invited to sing in various recital and orchestral concerts (with the Junge Kammerphilarmonie Berlin) in the Rheinsberg Castle Theater. Thanks to her excellent performance at the competition, she received a full scholarship from the 12th Lotte Lehmann Summer Academy.

Eunkyeong Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea and began playing the piano at the age of six. In 2013 she completed her Bachelor's degree in solo piano at KyungHee University in Korea. In addition, as a companion, she accompanied singing at the university. numerous concerts. From 2017 she continued her first master's degree in collaborative piano at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, where she successfully graduated with a grade of 1.0. Since winter semester 2019/20 she has been studying her master's degree in opera accompaniment at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH) with Prof. Paul Weigold. In 2018 she received a grant from Live Music Now (Yehudi Menuhin), with which she regularly gave recitals in the Baden-Württemberg region. In addition to her studies, Eunkyeong attended master classes with Prof. Nariaki Sugiura and two bass classes. Kwangchul Youn and Sop. Sekyung Rim she took part as a companion. She played at concerts in many old people's and nursing homes in the Baden-Württemberg region, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Ladenburg, Ilvesheim, Wiesloch, Walldorf, Dossenheim, Weinheim and the chamber concert "Romantic Fatasien" at the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater in Görlitz and Mrs. Kim played at the Mission concert in Hungary and Ukraine. At the age of 10 she already played various activities as a choir accompanist for the parish, Korean national radio station. In 2013 she received engagements at the Korea National Opera in Korea in the Mannheim University Orchestra as a celesta and as an assistant pianist. Since 2019 she has been teaching as a répétiteur in singing at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim and at the HMTMH (aspirantur).
